Description of the rod:

CTS had revised their monstrous REVO S series. I was very doubtful with this series based on my previous experience with super long casting, but non-balanced predecessor. I was looking a rod I could fish all day rather than a rod suitable for wait-see-cast fishing.

When I received the rod, it was super light and felt nice at hand even unassembled. After putting in components - well - mildly say I was excited with the rod. It was light and well balanced, just waiting to be taken to fish.

Casting with this rod is done so far with only one line: Guideline Pike #10 int/sink. It worked perfect so there has been no time or need to test other lines with it. The rod casts short, it casts long ( and I mean long with big pike flies on ), it can take strong double-hauls and finally it's great with fish on :)

Pros & cons:
+ Very light, but still feels strong with CTS quality joints
+ Will cast a mile
+ Has plenty of power to fight any fish
+ Very light and well balanced
- None :S or maybe I don't have enough of them :)

Fly lines:
- Guideline Pike #10 int/sink. Works like a charm with this rod.
- Will be tested with shooting heads later this year.

Conclusion:
A new favourite for sure. Takes the top spot from Affinity S by being lighter, longer casting and more responsive. Can be fished with lighter lines and is not that strict with timing on cast. Best price/performace ratio on current blanks on market as far as I know (prove me wrong :)

Absolutely highly recommended!
